Teleconsultations are available by completing our New Patient Form. We’ll be in touch to schedule a convenient time, and reach out to your pet’s primary care veterinarian to obtain relevant medical records.
If your primary care veterinarian suspects your pet has cancer, they may perform initial tests or refer you to HEAL for a more comprehensive workup and consultation.
Once diagnosed, we’ll have an in-depth conversation about the cancer type, stage, treatment options, prognosis, and your goals for your pet and family.
Next, an individualized care plan is developed for your pet and you. Whether it’s definitive treatment, palliative care, or something in between, our approach is to explain all options, answer questions, and enable you to make informed choices. If your pet is insured by Trupanion, they are able to pay the provider (Heal) directly, eliminating the need for reimbursement. Deductibles will apply. Please consult Trupanion for specific details.

For your convenience, HEAL can refill prescriptions for any medications we prescribe for your pet and have them delivered right to your door or available for pick-up.
